Robi Walters
This October, London’s biggest art fair is back, and we are celebrating art with a collaboration with London-based artist, Robi Walters. Over the past decade, his work has communicated the art of transformation, employing discarded materials to create a unique commentary on consumerism, consumption and waste.
About the Installation
In celebration of Frieze, we are proud to partner with renowned London-based artist Robi Walters, alongside West Contemporary, for an exclusive exhibit that celebrates art, sustainability and mindfulness. The installation, titled ‘Love Supreme’, will be complemented by custom-designed Bang & Olufsen speakers providing a thoughtful soundtrack to the installation, creating a multi-sensory experience.
The exhibit is just the first in the partnership between 1 Hotel Mayfair, West Contemporary and Walters.
About the Artist
Robi Walters is an internationally acclaimed, London-based artist who transforms discarded materials into beautiful works of art. He opened his own gallery and studio space in the heart of Soho in 2018 and now works from his studio/showroom. Over the past decade, his work has communicated the art of transformation, employing discarded materials to create a unique commentary on consumerism, consumption and waste. Robi’s artistic practice echoes his own life. The process of taking discarded objects and making them beautiful and ‘wanted’ reflects the spirit of transformation with which he has turned his own life around. Robi continues to break past his own boundaries to make his dreams a reality.
