There’s no shortage of activities at San Francisco’s most iconic park, filled with gardens, museums, art, flowers, trees, lakes, birds and wildlife. While the park is free to visit, popular attractions require admission. Our Concierge Team would be happy to curate your visit.

Freda Salvador began with friendship. Co-founders Cristina Palomo Nelson and Megan Papay instantly clicked over their shared love of design. Visiting Europe’s finest factories and tanneries, the pair dreamed up the brand as a way to combine Megan’s background in styling and Cristina’s shoemaking lineage to create a brand that struck the perfect balance between design and function. Their retail shop is a thoughtfully curated space located in Pacific Heights. MMclay is a small production business specializing in handmade ceramic tableware and homeware. Founded by artist and designer MaryMar Keenan in 2015, MMclay began as a one-woman show. The team now produces all wares from their 1500 square foot studio space, which doubles as a showroom (and sometimes art gallery). The open space invites visitors to take a peek at the process. Their pottery is designed to make daily routines special and are meant to provide a reminder of the slow beauty that human hands can create.

Earthen creates ceramics are deeply inspired by nature. The pieces are designed and made by artist Julia Lemke, utilizing a variety of production techniques from hand throwing to ram-pressing, slip casting, and hand building. It’s a very organic process, and no two pieces are exactly alike.  Natural variations and the individual spirit of each piece are meant to be celebrated. The pieces are made to become part of your everyday rituals and inspire you to slow down and be present. As soon as you enter the atelier, a sense of heritage strikes the senses - French and Chinese antiques attest convey a soulfulness, fragranced products from the oldest French candlemaker and oldest Italian pharmacy mix with the Lan Jaenicke scented candle, made from pure coconut oil, and her signature perfume, based on the scent of scholars’ ink. An array of Lan Jaenicke pieces adorn the walls, hanging from suspended bamboo crossbars. All Lan Jaenicke pieces are handcrafted using the purest and finest materials. Founded by a professional chef trained in classical French cuisine, Dogue offers food for dogs based on seasonality and what dogs would naturally hunt for in the wild. Rahmi Massarweh learned how to handcraft small batch, artisanal, and nutrient dense foods to create complete and balanced meals for pets. This includes pasture-raised, grass-fed meat, along with seasonal and organic vegetables. Dogue is on a mission to change the lives of as many dogs as possible through fresh, seasonal, high-quality whole food—one meal at a time.
