Good energy is clean energy. Your home away from home is equipped with efficient energy systems that feature low-energy LED light bulbs, and smart heating and cooling. We also purchase carbon offsets to reduce our operational footprint. To top things off, we operate a rainwater reclamation system on our rooftop that sends water down to irrigate the waterfront park.
Experience local elements. Over half of our hotel is made from regional and reclaimed materials, including original heart pine beams from the former Domino Sugar Factory in Brooklyn that now act as tables in our lobby and benches on each guest room floor.
Drink up. Each guest room in our hotel features a water tap built into the wall equipped with a water filtration system to provide our guests with high-quality drinking water. Our in-room cups and carafes are made from recycled wine bottles, to discourage guests from using single-use water bottles, especially plastic.
Winding down should come naturally. We sustainably sourced linens and non-toxic, eco-friendly mattresses that are healthy for both you and the environment.
Indulge guilt-free. The ingredients used in The Osprey, Harriet's, Neighbors and in-room dining are organic and sustainably sourced from local purveyors.

Walking over the Brooklyn Bridge is a quintessential New York experience, offering breathtaking views of the skyline, the East River, and the Statue of Liberty. It's a chance to soak in the city’s vibrant energy while feeling connected to its history and architecture. The bridge’s pedestrian path is perfect for a leisurely stroll, day or night, with a camera in hand or simply enjoying the moment. Brooklyn is known for its creative spirit and cultural diversity. It's a hub for art, music, and cuisine, with neighborhoods that pulse with character and charm. From the street art of Bushwick to the waterfront parks of Dumbo, Brooklyn offers an endless array of experiences that celebrate both the classic and the contemporary.
We’d like to think it’s our home in Dumbo, with its cobblestone streets, waterfront views, and the iconic Manhattan skyline as a backdrop. But you might also want to check out Williamsburg, where indie boutiques, artisanal eateries, and a thriving arts scene create a magnetic vibe that's hard to resist. Each neighborhood has its unique charm, so the coolest really depends on what you’re in the mood to explore.
Golden hour—the hour after sunrise or before sunset—casts a magical light over the Brooklyn Bridge. The soft, warm glow creates the perfect setting for photos that capture the bridge’s iconic beauty against the backdrop of the city skyline.
For a postcard-perfect shot, head to Pebble Beach in Brooklyn Bridge Park, where you'll capture stunning views of the bridge with the Manhattan skyline in the distance. And don't miss Harriet's Rooftop at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, where you can enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the bridge and the city, especially beautiful at sunset.
