EARTH MONTH WITH ANYBAG
To celebrate Earth Month, we're launching a special sustainability initiative in collaboration with ANYBAG. Join us in collecting single-use plastic bags, which then will be upcycled and transformed into one-of-a-kind, hand-woven totes and bags. Since inception in 2020, ANYBAG has diverted over half a million plastic bags from reaching our landfills and waterways.
ANYBAG represents innovation and sustainability, transforming New York City's plastic waste into valuable and beautiful creations. Each bag is made by hand in Manhattan and carries a story of transformation and purpose, symbolizing our commitment to a greener future.
The ANYBAG collection bin will be in the lobby beginning on April 1st.
Examples of soft plastics include flexible plastics that can be easily scrunched into a ball, such as plastic shopping bags, bread bags, plastics from online packages, and dry-cleaning bags.
